The anti lead-shop

Most health insurance websites exist to collect a phone number and sell it to five call centers. Covered Nationwide was built by people who watched that happen and wanted no part of it.

What Covered Nationwide is

A private team of 70+ licensed insurance agents working across 31 states. Covered Nationwide is the team's brand, not an insurance company and not a government program. The team helps generally healthy individuals, families, and self-employed people who pay full price for health coverage find private, individually underwritten plans built around a true nationwide PPO.

  • One agent, start to finish. The person who calls is a licensed agent in the applicant's state, and the same person handles everything through the ID card. No call center, no handoffs.
  • Information never gets sold. Not to lead vendors, not to call centers, not to anyone. It's in writing in the Privacy Policy, and it's the promise the brand is built on.
  • Straight answers, even costly ones. When a subsidized plan is the better fit, the agent says so and points there. Some sales are wrong to make.
  • Plain products. Most plans offered are fixed indemnity designs. They pay set, known dollar amounts for covered events, and every benefit and limit goes on paper before anyone decides.

Who the team serves

People paying the whole premium with nobody chipping in: the self-employed, 1099 contractors, small business owners, early retirees, and families whose income outgrew the subsidy. Generally healthy people, mostly, because that's who individual underwriting treats well. The team is honest about the flip side: these plans aren't for people on Medicaid, those who qualify for large subsidies, or anyone managing a major ongoing condition.

Where the team works

Licensed in 31 states, from Texas and Florida up through Michigan and out to Montana. Every lead goes to one agent licensed in that specific state. The full list, with a page on how the private route works in each, lives at Where we work.

How a conversation starts

About a minute of questions on the home page. One licensed agent reviews the answers and calls, usually within minutes during business hours, with real options in writing: benefits, limits, and the actual monthly number. No obligation at any point. For background reading first, the guides explain how these plans work in plain English.

About a minute of questions. One licensed agent. A straight answer.
